Privacy Policy
What we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.
Effective date: [confirm: publish date]
The short version
- We collect what you give us (like your name, email and phone) and some details about your visit, such as which ad you clicked.
- We use it to send your free course, run your purchase, send texts only if you agree, and see which of our ads work.
- We do not sell your information. We use Google tools to measure our own ads, as described below.
- Your phone number and text message sign-up are never shared with anyone for their marketing.
- To see, fix or delete what we hold about you, email brandon@grouphomeriches.com.
Who we are
Group Home Riches (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you engage with our services, including our website, SMS messaging program, and other digital communications.
Group Home Riches is run by Assisted Living Consultants LLC, Austin, Texas. [confirm: legal entity name and mailing address to publish]
What we collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when signing up for our services, including but not limited to:
- Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Other relevant contact information
Sign-up questions. After you sign up for the free course, we ask a few optional questions: your last name, phone number, when you hope to open a home, the price range you plan to invest, what is holding you back, and whether you want text messages. Our site forms do not ask about your health, disability, recovery or criminal history. [confirm: that the same is true of application, survey and call intake forms outside this site]
When you buy. Our checkout provider collects your name, email, billing details and payment card or account details. We never see your full card number. We get a record of what you bought, the price, the date, and your name and email.
Calls and bookings. If you book a call or apply for a program, we keep what you tell us on the booking form and on the call. [confirm: which tools hold call notes and application answers]
Collected automatically.
- Ad click and campaign details. When you arrive from an ad or a tracked link, the web address can include a Google Ads click ID and campaign tags (such as utm_source and utm_campaign). The site keeps these in your browser’s session storage for the rest of your visit, and sends them with your free course sign-up and your purchase so we can tell which ad led to it.
- Cookies from Google, described under “Google Analytics and Google Ads” below.
- Server logs. Our site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers record technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time.
- Embedded videos. Our YouTube video images load from Google’s servers, and videos play in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode when you press play. When they load, Google can receive your IP address and browser details.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Provide you with requested services and resources
- Send transactional messages such as appointment reminders and account updates
- Deliver marketing messages related to Group Home Riches (only if consented to)
- Improve our services and enhance user experience
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
- Take payments and give you access to what you buy
- Measure which ads lead to sign-ups and purchases, and report those results to Google Ads
- Prevent fraud and handle refunds and payment disputes
Your phone number and text messages
Mobile Information Protection Clause. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not send your phone number or text message sign-up to Google or any other ad platform. The text message box on our form is never ticked for you, and agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything. Our SMS program terms explain how to stop texts (reply STOP) and get help (reply HELP).
Google Analytics and Google Ads
We advertise on Google. To see whether our ads work, this site uses the Google tag for Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. [confirm: the date the Google tag goes live] The tag:
- sets cookies in your browser that record pages you visit and whether you came from one of our ads
- tells Google when you sign up for the free course or buy, with the ad click ID from your visit
- sends Google a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email you sign up with, so Google can match a sign-up to an ad click. This is called enhanced conversions. It never includes your phone number. [confirm: enhanced conversions are switched on in Google Ads]
Google may collect information about your activity on this site and other sites over time. Google explains how it uses this data in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Ads on other sites. [confirm: keep this paragraph only if Google remarketing or audience lists are turned on] We use Google Ads remarketing to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Other companies, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet, and use cookies to choose them based on your past visits to our site. You can turn this off in Google Ads Settings.
We do not use Meta (Facebook) or other ad platforms on this site. [confirm: still true at launch]
Security and how long we keep it
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
We keep your information while you are a subscriber or customer, and as long as we need it for tax, accounting, refund and legal records. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. [confirm: retention periods for purchase records, email contacts, call notes and server logs]
Children
Our site and products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, including children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email brandon@grouphomeriches.com and we will delete it.
