Who we are and who these terms cover

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Assisted Living Consultants LLC, doing business as Group Home Riches (“Group Home Riches,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), of Austin, Texas. These Terms cover your use of this website, our free course, and anything you buy from us. Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are part of these Terms.

What you are buying and how you pay

Group Home Riches is an education company. We teach people how to start and run a group home as a housing provider. We do not provide care, manage property, lend money, give legal advice, broker real estate, or place residents.

The Gold Course

A recorded online course with documents, paid once. After your payment is confirmed, we unlock your account on Kajabi, our course platform, and email you the login. Coaching and Done With You programs

The free course

Email lessons and a guide, free when you sign up with your email.

Price and what is included. The price, what is included and the payment terms shown at checkout when you buy are the ones that apply to your purchase. Prices are in US dollars. Checkout. Purchases on this site go through Whop, a checkout and payment company. Some products are still sold on our Kajabi store, where Stripe or PayPal handle the payment. [confirm: whether Whop is the merchant of record or our payment processor, and which products move to Whop]

Payment plans. If you choose a payment plan, you allow us or our payment provider to charge each payment on its due date until the full price is paid. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. It lists the 60-day conditions for the Gold Course and the terms for our other offers.

Your license to use our material

When you buy a product, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to use it for your own group home business. You cannot transfer it. Our course videos, documents, templates and emails belong to Group Home Riches or the people we license them from, and copyright law protects them.

You may not:

• share your login or account with anyone else
• copy, record, resell, post or hand out our material, except files we offer for download
• use our material to build a competing course or product

You may edit and use our templates for your own homes. Each purchase is for one person. [confirm: whether a couple or business partners may share one Gold Course account] If we find an account is shared or our material is being handed out, we may end access without a refund.

Other platforms. Some products are delivered on platforms we do not own, such as Kajabi, Skool, Whop, Calendly and YouTube. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply when you use them.

Community rules. In our community, live calls and comments, be respectful. Do not post spam, harassment, other people’s private information or anything unlawful. We may remove posts or members who break these rules.

No guarantee of results

EARNINGS DISCLAIMER: Group Home Riches does not guarantee any level of income or earnings. Your results may vary based on many factors including your experience, expertise, and work ethic. Running a group home business involves risks like any venture, and your success depends on your individual capacity, business skills, and market conditions.

Education only, not legal, financial or licensing advice

Our courses, coaching, calls, emails, documents and templates are for education only. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting, real estate, insurance or medical advice. Buying from us does not make us your lawyer, accountant or advisor.

Licensing rules vary by state and city. Whether a group home or shared housing needs a license, permit or inspection depends on your state, county and city, who lives in the home, and what services are provided. These rules change. Zoning, fair housing, landlord and tenant law, fire and safety codes, insurance and homeowners association rules may also apply. You are responsible for learning and following every rule that applies to your home and business. Before you open a home, check with your state and local agencies and talk to a licensed attorney in your state.

We do not provide care. If your residents need personal care, medical care or supervision, that care must come from properly licensed providers.

Any agreements or templates we give you are samples. Have a local attorney review them before you use them.

Problems with a charge

If something is wrong with a charge, please email brandon@grouphomeriches.com first so we can try to fix it. We answer within [confirm: number of business days].

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. If you open a dispute, we may pause your access to that product while it is open, and we may share records of your purchase and use with the payment company. Warranties and limits on our liability

No warranties. Except as these Terms and our Refund Policy state, the site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site or any platform will always be available or free of errors.

Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Group Home Riches and its owners, employees, coaches and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost income or business losses, arising from your use of the site or our products, or from any business decision you make. Our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid us for that product in the 12 months before the claim.

Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Your responsibility. You agree to cover claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorney fees, that come from how you run your group home or business, your residents, your properties, or your breach of these Terms. [confirm: whether to keep this paragraph]

Governing law and disputes

Texas law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. [confirm: Texas]

Talk to us first. Before filing any claim, you agree to email brandon@grouphomeriches.com describing the problem and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. We agree to do the same before filing a claim against you.

Where disputes are decided. [confirm: decision for Brandon and the attorney. Pick one option and delete the other before publishing. Courts are simpler for a business this size. Arbitration limits class actions, but the business pays most of the fees, so many individual filings at once can cost more than a lawsuit.]

• Option A, courts: Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, and you and we consent to those courts. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
• Option B, arbitration: Any dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration under the consumer rules of [confirm: provider], not in court, and not as part of a class or group action. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small claims court.

Group Home Riches SMS Alerts

Program Description

By opting into Group Home Riches SMS Alerts, you agree to receive automated text messages regarding coaching call reminders, check-ins, promotions, live event announcements, and other relevant updates related to Group Home Riches. Message frequency varies, and messages may be sent periodically to inform you about new opportunities, training materials, and program updates.

Opt-Out & Cancellation

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or reach out directly to brandon@grouphomeriches.com.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message & Data Rates

As always, message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Sending number

How you join

You join by ticking the text message box when you give us your phone number. The box is never ticked for you. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your phone number. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Changes and other terms

Changes. We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply to purchases made after the update. The Terms in effect when you bought something apply to that purchase.

If one part fails. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term, that does not waive it.

The whole agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and any written agreement you sign with us for a specific program are the full agreement between you and us about the site and our products.
